Reimagining the Mortality and Morbidity Conference.  There is a gap in single discipline, profession case review that is ill-suited to learn from teamwork and system failure.  This is a roundtable discussion to introduce and describe the advantages of implementing a multidisciplinary and interprofessional model of clinical case review in practice.

Ariadne Labs has engaged AANA to collaborate in a research project to understand experiences with and attitudes towards Multidisciplinary and Interprofessional Morbidity and Mortality Conferences (MIMMCs) in the perioperative space. This project aims to create a generalizable implementation tool to guide healthcare systems in running high-quality perioperative MIMMCs to maximize learning from events and improving teamwork and the systems in which clinicians work. Participate in the survey and learn more about the project and the importance of MIMMCs in the recent panel discussion featuring Dru Riddle, PhD, DNP, CRNA, FAAN and Ariadne Labs.

The American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
