Danica Gardiner graduated from the University of Minnesota Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse Anesthesia program. Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of New Hampshire and a Master in Nursing from the University of Minnesota. Prior to the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital, she worked at Mayo Clinic in Rochester in the Cardiac Surgery and Transplant Intensive Care Unit as well as at Minneapolis Children's Hospital's Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.
