Dr. Herbinger has 40 years of pediatric critical care experience with 25 of those as a CRNA. She completed MSN at Samuel Merritt and a DNP at UAB with a focus on pediatric airway management. In 2017, Dr. Herbinger’s manuscript entitled, Evidence Based Use of Cuffed Endotracheal Tubes in Children, was published in the Journal of PeriAnesthesia Nursing. I have taught full-time at Samford University for six years but continue to practice one day a week at Children’s of Alabama.
