Despite the decades of data suggesting that the stress associated with the anesthesia profession may lead to maladaptive coping mechanisms and that it is a true occupational hazard for those in training, little progress has been made understanding the prevalence and improvement related to education, outcomes and substance use disorder.
The American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
