The COVID-19 pandemic strained healthcare providers, including Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs), who experienced new stressors and roles. Little research focuses on the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on CRNAs, whose unique skillset implies a different experience than other disciplines.

The American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
