CRNAs will understand the theoretical basis of and anatomic effects of hypoglossal nerve stimulation, along with patient selection criteria, indications and contraindications to implantation.  CRNAs will demonstrate knowledge of care of patients during implantation surgery and subsequent procedures.

The American Association of Nurse Anesthetists is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

AANA is an approved provider by the California Board of Registered Nursing, CEP #10862.
